What We Believe

We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God and inerrant in the original writings. We believe that there is one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.

We believe that the lost and sinful man must be saved, and that man's only hope of redemption is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. We believe in and practice the holy ordinance of water baptism, which signifies the believer's death, burial, and resurrection into new life with Christ Jesus, and the regular celebration of Holy Communion as commanded by our Lord.

We believe in the present ministry and baptism of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a Godly life. We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the unsaved; those that are saved into the resurrection of life and those that are unsaved into the resurrection of damnation.

We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.

STEP ONE
I know nothing good lives in me, that is, in my sinful nature. For I have
the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out. Rom. 7:17
STEP TWO
For it is God who works in you to will and to act according to His good
purpose. Phil.2:13
STEP THREE
Therefore, I urge you, brethren, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your
bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God-which is your spiritual worship. Rom.
12:1
STEP FOUR
Let us examine our ways and test them, and let us return to the Lord. Lam.
3:40
STEP FIVE
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our
sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9
STEP SIX
Whoever tries to keep his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life
will preserve it. Luke.17:33

STEP SEVEN
Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door
will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who
knocks, the door will be opened. Matt. 7:7-8
STEP EIGHT
Therefore, if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember
that your brother has something against you, leave your gift there in front of the altar.
First go and be reconciled to your brother; then come and offer your gift. Matt. 5:23-24
STEP NINE
Fools mock at making amends for sin, but goodwill is found among the
upright. Each heart knows its own bitterness, and no one else can share its joy. The
house of the wicked will be destroyed, but the tent of the upright will flourish. There is a
way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death. Proverbs 14:9-12

STEP TEN
Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the
eyes of everybody. If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with
everyone. Do not take revenge, my friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: “It
is mine to avenge; I will repay,” says the Lord. Romans 12:17
STEP ELEVEN
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one
another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in
Your hearts to God. And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name
of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him. Colossians 3:15-17
Let the words of my mouth, and the meditations of my heart be acceptable in
thy sight, O Lord, my strength and my redeemer. Psalms 19:14
STEP TWELVE
Brethren, if a man is overtaken in any trespass, you who are spiritual
should restore him in a spirit of gentleness. Look to yourself, lest you too be tempted.
Galatians 6:1
2Ti 2:2 The things which you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses, entrust these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also
.
